The University Heights Academy Blazers will roll into the start of the 2026 soccer season coming off a big road scrimmage win Thursday night. Cal Givens finished with three goals as the Blazers cruised to an 8-0 mercy rule win over the Russellville Panthers. Behind first half goals from brothers Graham and Jack Conrad, along with an own goal, UHA ran out to a 3-0 halftime lead. Cal Givens scored on two penalty kicks inside the first seven minutes of the second half to push the lead out to 5-0. The Blazers are now set to open the season Tuesday night on the road at Madisonville-North Hopkins.
