The Madisonville-North Hopkins Lady Maroons will go into the regular season with some positive mojo. The Lady Maroons scored five goals in a seventeen-minute stretch of the opening half and took care of the Apollo E-Gals 8-1 Thursday night in Madisonville. McKinley Wilson’s goal at the 9:00 mark got things started for the Lady Maroons. Wilson added another goal during the big run for Madisonville, with the Lady Maroons also getting goals from Camree Young, Aletheia Golightly, and Lyza Carman as they ran out to a 5-0 halftime lead. The Lady Maroons will open the season Tuesday night on the road at Marshall County.
