The information submitted by Eden includes certain general information such as financial qualifications submitted pursuant to 10 CFR 50.33, “Contents of applications; general information,” certain technical information submitted pursuant to 10 CFR 50.34, “Contents of applications; technical information,” and an environmental report submitted pursuant to 10 CFR part 51, “Environmental Protection Regulations for Domestic Licensing and Related Regulatory Functions.” An open house will be held before the hearing begins, from 5 to 5:30 p.m., to give the public an opportunity to speak with the NRC staff. The applicant has been made aware of the hearing and was invited to provide a presentation of no more than 30 minutes following the NRC staff presentation. The NRC staff will not consider comments or questions received by other means or after the deadline of October 13, 2026. The NRC staff will treat any written comments or questions received consistent with the Commission Policy Statement on Mandatory Hearings for Reactor Licensing.
