Winnipeg police arrested three people after a break-in to a parked rental vehicle led officers to stolen property, which had been tracked by an electronic device. Investigators said the vehicle’s rear window had been smashed, and a backpack containing an iPad was taken. Using that information, officers followed the signal to the area of Vaughan Street and Portage Avenue, where they found a man wearing the backpack. A 39-year-old man, a 42-year-old man, and a 34-year-old woman are each charged with possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
