HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – Drivers traveling through Hillsborough County next week will encounter a series of scheduled lane closures on major highways and local roads starting Sunday, August 9, according to a release from the Florida Department of Transportation District 7. On I-75, lane closures will run from the I-4 interchange to Fowler Avenue each night from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., beginning August 9 and extending through Friday, August 28. Nightly lane closures over the McKay Bay bridge from 7 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Daytime lane closures will occur at Ayersworth Glen Boulevard from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. Flagging operations and lane closures are also scheduled at the intersection of Robert Tolle Road and Bloomingdale Avenue from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., Sunday through Thursday.
