This award feels especially validating because we were snubbed by most others and we were not even nominated. Though we did win the Grand Prix in Russia for Best Film, to now receive Best Hindi Film in India. Also, for me, a National Award means far more than something like the Oscars. I thought maybe Raj (Rajkummar Rao) might win for Best Actor, but not Best Film.
