The Flossmoor Village Board voted Aug. 3 to award a $634,421 contract to Metropolitan Industries Inc. for a project that will replace the village’s aging water Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system, which monitors and controls the municipal water distribution system. The contract was awarded to the Romeoville firm after it submitted the lowest responsive proposal during a rebid process.
