To celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium, Scottish Rugby have teamed up with Essential Edinburgh at St Andrew Square to showcase the history of the stadium and Scotland teams to the masses, right in the heart of the city.
Informative exhibition panels have been placed around the perimeter of St Andrew Square to let rugby fans and the public learn about our stadium’s history.
The square that usually serves as a Fringe festival venue or a Christmas market hot spot, will now be adorning 14 photo-led exhibition panels on its outer gates.
These panels break down the rich history of Murrayfield and how the stadium and the iconic events held within its own gates have changed over the years.
From October 1st – November 12th Scottish Rugby fans, general public and visitors to the city can take time as they stroll past and into the garden to read through the Murrayfield Then and Now exhibition.
