On August 22, The Moss Rose Inn on Manchester Road is promising a full day of entertainment, activities and fundraising. The outdoor event hopes to bring the community together in support of YoungMinds, the UK's leading charity dedicated to improving the mental health of children and young people. A charity raffle with a selection of prizes will also be held, with tickets priced at £2.50 per strip and available from The Moss Rose Inn. YoungMinds campaigns for change, carries out research, influences policy and practice, and provides expert advice and support to young people.
