The 'Chill n Chat' sessions, organised by Lend a Hand in Horwich and Surrounding Areas Community Support, take place at The Bridge Hotel in Horwich from 10am until 1pm every Wednesday. The weekly gathering welcomes residents of all ages and backgrounds and provides members with an opportunity to meet new people, tackle loneliness and enjoy a free tea, coffee, cake or biscuit in a relaxed setting. As well as offering friendship and companionship, the group also helps connect people with local support services and encourages those interested in volunteering to join their team of community volunteers.
