The baby, named Raisin, has already captured the hearts of staff, with the farm posting photographs of the newborn standing close to its mother as it settles into its new surroundings at Smithills Open Farm.
The baby llama joins a number of other recent arrivals that have been born at the farm, including piglets, pygmy goat kids and a miniature Shetland foal, all of which have become popular with visitors.
The farm regularly shares updates on animal births and behind-the-scenes life with its followers on social media, many of whom are keen to keep track of the newest members of the herd.
Visitors hoping to catch a glimpse of the baby llama may be able to spot the new arrival during a visit to the farm, where families can enjoy a range of activities including tractor rides, animal feeding, reptile talks and owl demonstrations.
The farm is open between 10am and 5pm every day, and booking online is recommended.
