The bus-only tour will take place on Saturday August 8, departing from Smithills Hall or Horwich Leisure Centre at 12pm, and lasting about an hour, suitable and accessible for all. Two Lads (Image: LDR)Those who would like to explore on foot can meet at the same locations at either 10am or 1.45pm on the same day to be taken to the site, which they can then explore at their own leisure. Tickets are free, but must be booked by visiting Eventbrite, at the Two Lands Restoration - Guided Bus Tours Archaeological Dig page. Archaeologists are currently undertaking a dig at the Two Lads, which, with the help of these bus tours, visitors are encouraged to come and see for themselves. Wheelchairs can be used within Smithills Hall, although some areas are too narrow for Mountain Trikes.
