The spot is located on Blackburn Road outside the Fusion Foods takeaway and the convenience store next to it. There are double yellow lines on the road, but people 'often' park on them, according to former councillor Stuart Lever, sometimes making it difficult to use the junction. Although the double yellow lines are outside Fusion Foods, there is no evidence to suggest this parking is the fault of Fusion Foods staff or delivery drivers. "There are bollards on the other side of the road near the junction, so why couldn't we install bollards here?" Fusion Foods has been contacted for comment.
