Thousands of children across Wiltshire and Dorset took part in the Big Teddy Takeover, bringing their favourite teddies to school and taking part in teddy-themed activities in support of Julia’s House Children’s Hospice. The event, held during Children's Hospice Week from June 15 to 21, involved more than 45 schools, nurseries, and community groups. "Everyone threw themselves into their Big Teddy Takeovers with such enthusiasm, raising an incredible amount to help fund our specialist care. "Every pound raised through events like Big Teddy Takeover helps us be there for families when they need us most, whether that's at our hospices or in their own homes." The Big Teddy Takeover was sponsored by Bournemouth Water.
