Officers investigating an incident in Chippenham are appealing for any witnesses to get in touch. At 4.50pm on July 21, three men were involved in a disorder near Chippenham Football Club, on Bristol Road. A man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of assault by beating and possession of a bladed article. He has since been released on conditional bail while further enquiries continue. A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
