BlogBack in September 2025, Public Works Minister Fayez Rasamny kicked off the restoration of Beirut’s historic Mar Mikhael railway station. The first phase of the railway’s conservation is officially complete following the full restoration of the exterior of the historic Passengers Building. Now that the first phase is complete, restoration work will continue on the building’s remaining architectural elements.
