The footage appeared to show the 47-year-old blogger holding a large knife while visibly covered in blood with apparent injuries to his body. The livestream quickly sparked widespread concern after Hilton told viewers at one point that he was attempting suicide. At one point Hilton leaned into the camera and said, “I’m surprised TikTok let this stay.” Clips of the disturbing livestream circulating on social media ended with Hilton telling concerned viewers he was committing suicide before the broadcast abruptly cut off.
