Medipally cab driver arrested for alleged sexual assault of minorA 16-year-old girl allegedly sexually assaulted by a cab driver reported the incident after attending a 'Good Touch-Bad Touch' awareness programme at her school. According to the information available, the suspect, Niranjan, a resident of Peerzadiguda and a cab driver, was known to the minor girl, who is studying in Class X. The incident came to light on Wednesday after the student attended an awareness session on ‘Good Touch-Bad Touch’ at her school. Following the programme, she broke down in tears and informed She Teams personnel about the alleged assault. Based on her complaint, the Medipally police registered a case, arrested Niranjan, and remanded him in judicial custody.
