The lady driving the Mazda said Khan’s vehicle then “shot across the junction without any hesitation” and smashed into Mr Jeffree’s car. In a statement read by the prosecutor, Mr Jeffree said: “This entire situation makes me very sad. “We as a family have a lot of memories with that car,” Mr Jeffree said. She said her client was extremely remorseful for his actions and had written a “heartfelt” letter of apology to Mr Jeffree. “It was perhaps sheer luck that the only injury here was to Mr Jeffree, there could have been many injuries here.”
