CATSKILL, N.Y. (WNYT) — A boil water advisory remains in place for village of Catskill water users, as officials say the system has not returned to normal. The village said high turbidity levels are still affecting its water treatment plant. When the turbidity level decreases, workers can flush the system and complete Department of Health testing required to lift the advisory. Greene County Emergency Services is providing more bottled water after 4 p.m. Thursday at the Catskill Police Department on Main Street in Catskill. The advisory applies to all village of Catskill water users, including Jefferson Heights, Leeds and South Cairo.
