At 1:37 a.m. Wednesday, August 5, the Rolesville Fire Department responded to a house fire in the 800 block of Willow Tower Court. Rolesville Fire Department units arrived on scene in just four minutes and encountered a working house fire with heavy fire coming from the upper stories and rear of the residential house. About 30 firefighters from Rolesville, New Hope and Wake Forest Fire Departments responded to the call. After the fire was contained, an investigation led by Wake County Fire Marshall’s Office with assistance from Rolesville Police Department, state and federal law enforcement began immediately. The cause and origin of the fire remain under investigation by the Wake County Fire Marshal's Office and the medical examiner with assistance from the Rolesville Police Department.
