Adam Sandler has reunited with some old friends as production begins on Grown Ups 3, more than a decade later. Starring Sandler and frequent collaborators out of his Happy Madison universe, the Grown Ups franchise revolves around a set of childhood friends who are brought back together as adults over the course of a summer vacation. The first, released in the summer of 2010, did around $272M worldwide, with 2013’s Grown Ups 2 grossing around $247M. Adam Sandler, Jackie Sandler, Jack Giarraputo and Herlihy are producing Grown Ups 3, with Kevin Grady and Judit Maull exec producing.
