Medical marijuana sales in Arkansas reached $24.79 million in July, bringing the state’s total for 2026 to approximately $165 million, according to the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration. The July total works out to an average of approximately $800,000 in medical marijuana purchases each day. With $165 million in sales during the first seven months of the year, Arkansas dispensaries have averaged roughly $23.6 million in monthly sales so far in 2026. Arkansas voters approved medical marijuana through a constitutional amendment in November 2016, with licensed dispensaries beginning sales in May 2019. The program allows registered patients with qualifying medical conditions to purchase marijuana from state-licensed dispensaries.
