The shiny new doors on a beautifully remodeled building were swung open to welcome the new Jonah Bank’s first customers.
Jonah Bank of Wyoming’s main branch is located along the North Platte River.
They were later put in touch with banking veterans Gregg Jones and Mark Zaback, the latter of which would go on to serve as Jonah Bank’s first CEO.
In keeping with Mick’s philanthropic spirit, the bank started planning its 20th anniversary last year with lofty donation goals in mind.
Their foundation, however, is still active and involved in the community, and Mick’s spirit and legacy remain a part of Jonah Bank, said DeVore, who tears up recalling his memory.
