Peter Okidi has arrived at Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) FC with a clear mission: to help restore the club’s status as a genuine title contender. Okidi joins KCB from newly promoted Mombasa United, taking up a role alongside head coach Robert Matano as the club prepares for the 2026–27 Kenyan Premier League season. Speaking after his unveiling, Okidi said KCB stood out despite interest from other clubs because of its football structure and long-term ambition. “Every coach wants to win something at the end of the season and I am here to make history and win something at the end of the season,” Okidi said. As pre-season preparations continue, expectations will rise around whether KCB can turn renewed optimism into results on the pitch.
