Mike Braun has appointed Amber R. Van Til, president and CEO of the Indiana Bankers Association, to the Indiana Commission for Higher Education.
“I am honored by this appointment and the opportunity to impact the next generation of Indiana’s workforce alongside Secretary Jenner and my fellow Commission members,” Van Til said.
“Having spent my career working with Indiana’s business community, I’ve seen firsthand the importance of aligning higher education with workforce needs.
Created in 1971, the Indiana Commission for Higher Education is the State’s higher education coordinating agency, working to improve economic and social mobility for fellow Hoosiers through postsecondary education and training.
Van Til is a graduate of the University of Indianapolis and of the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.
