Scioto County seeks bids for jail water storage tank replacement

PORTSMOUTH, Ohio — The Scioto County Board of Commissioners is seeking bids for the replacement of the commercial water storage tank and salt water system at the Scioto County Jail, according to a notice to bidders posted by the county sheriff’s office.
Sealed bids will be accepted by the clerk of the Board of Scioto County Commissioners in Room 310 of the Scioto County Courthouse, 602 7th St. in Portsmouth, until 10 a.m. on Sept. 3, when they will be publicly opened and read.
Bidders must mail or deliver sealed bids addressed to the clerk’s office, with the outer envelope marked “Bid for commercial water storage tank replacement/salt water system installation for the Scioto County Jail.”
The notice, signed by clerk Amanda Howard, states the board reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
