Leslie Kabla’s Un Été à Hydra transforms a historic harbour building into an immersive Greek island homeCurator Leslie Kabla has unveiled Un Été à Hydra, a new exhibition celebrating Mediterranean design, craftsmanship and contemporary art, set within a historic stone building overlooking the harbour on the Greek island of Hydra.
Running from the Melina Mercouri building, just steps from the DESTE Foundation, the exhibition transforms the historic space into an immersive domestic setting inspired by the atmosphere of a traditional Greek summer home.
Inspired by Hydra’s distinctive architecture and craftsmanship, the exhibition explores a Mediterranean lifestyle rooted in simplicity, hospitality and everyday beauty.
Many of the works on display, including furniture, ceramics, limited editions and artisan-made objects, are available to purchase throughout the exhibition.
They will also be offered after the summer through LK Shop, Leslie Kabla’s forthcoming online platform, which will extend the exhibition and future projects beyond Hydra.
