On Aug. 1, 52 teams (women’s and mixed) took part in the Paddle for Life dragon boat race in Ridgefield, Washington. Teams took part in the race to raise money for breast cancer research. The final race for North Coast Paddling Club takes place in Portland on the weekend of Sept. 12 and 13 at Tom McCall Waterfront Park.
