‘The Spiral’ Trailer Teases Supernatural Horror Film Ahead of TIFFAhead of its premiere through TIFF’s Midnight Madness program, we have our first look at the trailer for Italian supernatural horror film The Spiral (aka L’estranea). The film follows a woman who discovers her family’s past is built upon a horrifying supernatural bargain made decades earlier. To watch the trailer, you wouldn’t know this was a horror film. Though there isn’t much horror in the trailer, we swear it’s a genre movie. Paolo Strippoli (A Classic Horror Story, Flowing) directed the film.
