The funding will serve an estimated 1,952 East Texas veterans, according to the Texas Veterans Commission. East Texas Veterans Community Council (CampV) will receive $200,000 for its financial assistance program for veterans. The $3.3 million in grants to East Texas organizations are among $40.8 million in grants to be received by 160 organizations across the state.
