Marshall AD and Head Football Coach Jason Hammett was gifted a game ball from last Friday night’s football game against Tyler to commemorate his first win. I grew up on the sideline in his shadow and always wanted to be a football coach. Coach Crawford (a Beckville alum) was the AD and head football coach when I grew up in Tatum. Almost all of what I know about coaching football and running a program I learned from him at Denton Ryan. He is the best football coach I know.
