BATH – Anne Crosby Nichols, also known as “Anne Luv” or “Mémé”, died July 23, 2026, at the age of 95. She was born on March 28, 1931, in Minneapolis, Minn. to Esther Vinton Crosby (née Washburn) and Albert Hastings Crosby. She was preceded in death by her parents; four siblings, Albert, Charlie, Esther, and John; husband, Herman A. Nichols, Jr.; and grandson, Christopher Nichols. Upon graduation, Anne studied in Europe with her best friend, Lorraine Nichols Higbie. “Nick” Nichols, III (Kim), Anita N. Staeheli (Christopher); four grandchildren, Jamie Nichols (Ruby), Ben Nichols (Kayleen), Ian Staeheli (Hailey) and Laura Staeheli (Jason); and three great-grandchildren, Sona Nichols, Lina Nichols, and Finnley Christopher Nichols.
