The High Court in Edinburgh heard that after briefly embracing his daughter, Atutie launched a brutal attack, stabbing the 30-year-old woman multiple times. She survived after members of the public intervened, disarmed the attacker and restrained him until police arrived. He also issued a lifelong non-contact order preventing Atutie from contacting Victory after completing his prison sentence. Prosecutors said Atutie told her he was carrying a knife and demanded that she follow him before grabbing her by the hair and repeatedly stabbing her in the head and body.
