Former Sauber reserve Theo Pourchaire lands Formula E drive with Opel GSE for 2026/27 season – Former Formula 2 champion Theo Pourchaire has secured a full-time Formula E seat after signing with Opel GSE for the 2026/27 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.
The 22-year-old will race for Opel GSE in Formula E’s Gen4 era, with the identity of his teammate yet to be announced.
He added:“It is the next step in my career and the biggest opportunity in formula racing for me so far.”
Formula 1 opportunity never materialised despite junior successPourchaire emerged as one of motorsport’s brightest prospects after entering the junior formula ladder in 2018.
Now, with Formula E introducing its all-new Gen4 machinery for Season 13, Pourchaire returns to full-time formula racing hoping to establish himself at the highest level of electric motorsport.
