She Matters – Australia’s Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence Commissioner shares family tragedy’s life long impact

Australia’s Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence Commissioner, Micaela Cronin, has spoken publicly for the first time about the murder of her aunt in a two-part interview on the award-winning podcast She Matters. The tragedy shaped Cronin’s career which spans more than three decades dedicated to improving the safety of women and children. She is Australia’s first Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence Commissioner. The She Matters podcast allows families to control the narrative of their person – to tell us about the lives they lived, the people they loved and their legacies. The Second Action Plan currently being developed is a critical moment in the life of the National Plan to End Violence against Women and Children 2022–2032.
