Motorists using Nairobi's Outer Ring Road have been advised to expect temporary traffic disruption on Saturday, August 8, following the planned partial road closure by the Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA). Among the estates set to be affected by the partial closure are Huruma, Mlango Kubwa, Kiamaiko, Kariobangi North, Kariobangi South, Dandora, Buru Buru and Umoja 1. Between 1:30 pm and 2 pm, the affected section of Outer Ring Road will be completely closed to allow for the safe removal of the gantry.
