SuperSport on DStv in South Africa and GOtv in the rest of Africa will broadcast the highly anticipated Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry (RGR) between the Springboks and New Zealand’s All Blacks. MultiChoice owner CANAL+, the South African Rugby Union (SARU) and New Zealand Rugby (NZR) confirmed the broadcast rights agreement for RGR on Thursday (6 August). Additionally, SuperSport will broadcast the four provincial matches between the All Blacks and South Africa’s premier domestic franchise teams. New Zealand’s tour will be historic, as it will be their first full tour of South Africa since 1996 when they walked away with the 2-1 series win against the Springboks. South Africa added 2007, 2019 and 2023 to their 1995 triumph, while New Zealand added 2011 and 2015 to their 1987 win.
