Dormant traffic register numbers targetedThe Transport Department said it would issue a notice on its website listing dormant TRNs for natural persons obtained between 1 January 2000 and 30 June 2023. Documents required include temporary ID certificate, unexpired passport, South African ID (for those who have acquired citizenship), temporary permit, two photographs and proof of residential address. Persons who have submitted the required documents or information can check their statuses 90 days after submission, the department said.
