NET Web DeskLower Subansiri district police have arrested a hotel operator on charges of allegedly sexually assaulting a 17-year-old minor girl who was working as housekeeping staff at his hotel in Hapoli. According to Lower Subansiri SP Keni Bagra, the incident occurred on July 31. The accused allegedly asked the minor to go with him for shopping. When the girl resisted, the accused allegedly threatened her and warned her against reporting the matter, the SP said. The SP informed that after the incident the accused fled to Ziro, but was later traced and arrested from Naharlagun.
