Officials confirmed that the death toll has climbed to 95 after six more lives were lost on Wednesday. Among the latest fatalities, two were reported from Sivasagar, two from Biswanath, and one each from Golaghat and Morigaon districts. Sivasagar remains the worst-hit, accounting for 50 deaths alone, while neighboring Charaideo has reported 21 casualties. Authorities continue to monitor the situation as relief efforts are underway, but the scale of devastation highlights the severity of this year’s floods across the state.
