NET Web DeskSecurity forces arrested two active cadres of different banned insurgent groups in separate operations carried out on August 5, officials said. In the first operation, security forces arrested an active cadre of the KCP (PWG), identified as Moirangthem Ramesh Singh alias Leingakpa (29), a resident of Moirang Khunou Makha Leikai in Bishnupur district. He was apprehended from Moirang Khunou Block Lamkhai. In another operation, security forces arrested an active cadre of the RPF/PLA, identified as Thokchom Daimond Meitei alias Tamthouba (27), a resident of Serou Bazar Awang Leikai in Kakching district. He was arrested from Sagolband Khuraijam Leikai in Imphal West district.
