Medico brain-dead after drunk youth ran over with car at Andhra mallAmaravati: A 28-year-old medico was declared brain-dead after she was allegedly run over by a car at a mall in Rajamahendravaram in East Godavari district. The critically injured medico was admitted to a local hospital and later shifted to Hyderabad, where doctors declared her brain-dead. Police identified the arrested youths as Suravarapu Daswant, who was driving the car, and Andrew Joseph Edwards. They allegedly misbehaved with mall staff before leaving, and later ran over a medico near the gate. Another case was filed for their rude behaviour with the mall staff.
