Mitch McConnell said on Thursday that he has been discharged from the rehabilitation center where he had been recovering after a fall and will continue to recover at home. “Earlier today, I was discharged from the rehabilitation center to continue my recovery at home. In July, after weeks of speculation over his health status, McConnell announced that a fall had landed him in the hospital. While receiving excellent care over the past several weeks, I’ve also had to deal with a mild case of pneumonia,” he said in a statement at the time. The senator went on to say that he had been moved to a rehabilitation center to continue regaining his strength.
