North Platte police are looking for Julius Reed, II in connection with an assault and shooting in the early morning hours on Tuesday, Aug. 5. Julies M. Reed, IIPolice have identified Reed as a person of interest and believe Reed assaulted a resident before the gunfire was exchanged in the street. Reed is wanted for questioning for the offenses, which include attempted first-degree assault, use of a firearm to commit a felony, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, and third-degree assault.
