My employment was within our National Health Service, and I cannot understand criticism or negative feelings of our NHS. With the introduction of our NHS, recorded is how health improved, infant death dropped and life extension increased. Yet I do recall nursing folk who suffered with deeper affects, and recall patients experiencing facial pain particularly. I worked on a pre and post cardiac surgery ward. The ward I worked on was a long, old style, feeling spacious, with soaring ceilings and a calm wooden floor.
