A recall was issued by Sun Noodle for its Sura Tanmen Hot and Sour Flavor Premium Japanese Noodles & Soup Base. The recalled product was distributed exclusively in Hawai‘i to Don Quijote, Times Supermarket, H Mart, Marukai Wholesale Mart, Nijiya Market and other local grocers and distributors. The health department is following up with local stores to ensure that the recalled product is no longer available for sale. To date, there have been no reports of illness or adverse events attributed to the recalled product. Consumers should neither open nor eat the recalled products if anyone in the household has a fish allergy, to prevent exposure and potential symptoms.
