Two more suspects are now facing charges in connection with the discovery of a Kansas City woman’s body in southeastern Saline County. 34-year-old Joseph Kitara of Independence and 35-year-old Brianna Nicole Willis of Kansas City are now facing charges that they abandoned the body of 41-year-old Amber Simpson on a property southwest of Nelson. According to court documents, an anonymous tip phoned into the Kansas City, Mo. Police Department in mid-June accused Willis of killing the victim and then having the body burned at a Saline County residence. Willis was arrested over the weekend in Kansas City and is being held without bond in Jackson County.
