A Pilot Grove driver was seriously injured after hydroplaning on a roadway a few miles outside of Clifton City on Thursday, August 6. A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when a vehicle driven by a 19-year-old woman drove through standing water on Route JJ at 11:50 a.m. The vehicle then hydroplaned, traveled off the road, and overturned. The driver was dealt serious injuries and taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment of serious injuries.
