On July 12th, the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office activated their “Ready, Set, Go” Evacuation process. The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office also has an embedded National Weather Service meteorologist on staff at their Emergency Operations Center. So, that was away from populated areas for the most part in St. Louis County. St. Louis County has 80 some fire departments within the county.
